A Few of My Favorite Things | WDW | OCT - 2020 Disney Edition

Every trip I take I find things that I love or enjoy while away! It can be part of my trip or something I have bought that ends up being a favorite for function or use! Join me as I give you my top 5 favorite things from my trips at Disney in the Fall from years gone by!

1 - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party & Boo-To-You Parade - Coming in at the very top of my list is the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Boo-to-You Parade. Our first ever MNSSHP party was in 2014 which was my favorite trip we have ever taken. There is something so magical about this time of year at Disney. From the fall decorations, the themed foods and drinks, and the characters dressed up making their way down Main Street in the Boo-to-You Parade. Pixie Dust is in the air as you trick-or-treat your way through Magic Kingdom. Kids and adults get to dress up and live in the moment making memories that last a lifetime. I'll never forget as I watched my kids dance with Phineas and Ferb to the tune of the most bewitching music you've ever heard. It's infectious and perfectly done!

2 - Chip-N-Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long & Movie Night - This little Disney gem has a special place in my heart for sure. We discovered this during our first trip that we took our daughter on. It is even more special when you go in the fall, especially around Halloween. After the sing-a-long we roasted s'mores and cuddled up together to watch our favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus. It's a great way to step away from the hustle and bustle of the parks without missing the Magic! There's a wonderful snack stand called the Chuck Wagon Snack Bar which has snack items including the S'mores kits. Bring your blanket and sit back and enjoy.

3 - Food & Wine Festival and the Fall Concert Series at Epcot - What can be more enjoyable than good food and music. I have had the privilege of visiting Epcot during this time many times and the energy in the park is electric. Highlight concerts were when we were able to watch Wilson Phillips perform and Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray. We found ourselves lost in the nostalgia of every word from songs that had shaped moments in our lives. That is the power music holds. At the same time we sampled scrumptious food offerings all around the countries of Epcot's World Showcase. One of my favorites was the New England Lobster Roll! Try it! You won't regret it.

4 - Weather - The weather in the fall is splendid. With hot days to enjoy the pools at the resort and cooler nights that allow you to wear all that long sleeve spirit wear, the fall is my favorite time to visit the parks. There's such fun in being able to cozy up at night and bask in the sun during the day! My suggestion is to pack for the summer and buy all the hoodies and spirit wear to keep you warm as souvenirs. Each year brings new designs to collect in your wardrobe!

5 - Multi Experiences in one trip! - The fall allows you to experience the awesome family vacation you've planned while also seeing the park decorated for Halloween. Typically the first week in November offers the ability to see the park in full swing for Halloween and then transformed for Christmas. Talk about bang for your buck with experiences. You'll have so many memories to tell and there's no better way to preserve those memories than with Memory Maker! I highly suggest it so everyone gets in on the photo ops! Make sure to add it before you travel and save at a discounted rate. If you miss that window, no worries, it can always be purchased when you arrive at the parks.
